I apologise for this, but I have a bit of an unhealthy fascination with aeroplanes. I was relaxing at Heathrow when I saw the QANTAS A380 for the first time. She's absolutely beautiful and I was lucky enough to view pre-flight control surface checks...full rudder, elevators, and the rest. Now that Air France fly the A380 to JFK, I feel that I should be experiencing the A380 pretty soon - just need to ignore the fact that it's on a French aeroplane.
